Coralie's Biography (from www.coralie.co.uk)
Stolen from just outside of London, stunning Coral from the sea with an I.E. not only creates a stir with her presence but also writes her own music too. Her unique style is punk influenced, edgy, pop, with a bit of 80’s retro thrown in. Currently unsigned she has interest from several labels and she has 2 more sensational tracks in the pipeline which are due for completion this autumn. Coralie has had the fortune of sharing her vocal coach with Amy Winehouse and is currently being produced by some of London’s premiere producers (James Earp has just finished working on a track with Sugababes and is responsible for many top 10 hits and several number 1s) Coralie’s style as defined in ‘Office Job’ and 'Poison' takes a unique sound and inspiration. Coralie exudes personality, emanates naughtiness, and radiates a sexy aura with her 100% natural figure.
As a sociable teenager Coralie fell in love with music that had meaning, lyrics that cut like a knife and beats that threw parties. She grew up listening to Michael Jackson, Blondie, Nirvana, The Beatles, Alanis Morissette and most of the Pop majors which all have an influence in the music she writes today.
Even though she was always the life and soul of every party, she was often misunderstood by all around her; a mischievous nature led to conflicts with every authority, Police or whoever. Held up as the rebel child she was only ever in it for the fun. She worked 26 hours a day with various jobs from waitressing to office jobs. Monotony never dampening her kindred spirit though as she had a single aim: to earn the needed money to support and sustain her musical focus. Her experiences good, bad and hideous not only inspired her lyrics but motivated her to rise above and encouraged her to be who she was: Strong and determined - a star in the making.
Coralie did what Coralie wanted to do... Her strong mind and ambition was the fuel to her fire. She would often joke to the people that put her down for being a “loner” saying “birds fly in packs, Eagles soar”.. And that was her motto.
